- 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - ¼ cup curd
 - ½ cup milk
 - ½ tsp cardamom
 - A pinch of salt
 - ½ tsp baking powder
 - A pinch of baking soda
 - Ghee (for frying)
 - Sugar syrup
 - Pistachios
 
How to make :

- Take all-purpose flour in a bowl and add milk and curd, cardamom, a pinch of salt, baking powder and baking soda.
 - Mix well to form a batter and make little round balls of it.
 - Use ghee for frying until golden brown.
 - Make sugar syrup and to it, add saffron for colour.
 - Soak the balls in this syrup for 3–4 hours.
 - Decorate with pistachios and serve!

Coat the balushahi with sugar syrup while it's still warm to ensure it absorbs the syrup and stays moist.
