Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the Paradise Giveaway Contest (the "Contest") hosted on the Britannia SnackInc social media handle ("Page"). The Contest is organized by Britannia Industries Ltd. (the "Brand").
1. Eligibility:
a. The Contest is open to residents of India aged 18 years or older having valid Instagram accounts.
b. Employees, representatives, or agents of the Brand’s, or any of its related bodies corporate or associates, or permitted assigns as well as their immediate family members or household members, are not eligible to participate.
2. Contest Period:
a. The contest is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2025, 04:00 PM and will continue until 13th January 2025, 11:59 AM. Winners will be announced on 15 January 03:00PM
b. However, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances, the end time of the contest will be determined at the discretion of the Brand.
3. How to Participate:
To enter the contest, participants must:
a. Follow @britanniasnackinc on Instagram.
b. Recreate your own version of the iconic “Ting Ting Tiding”
c. Send us a Direct Message (DM) with your entry, comment, "Ting Ting Tiding," tagging one friend, and share the post on your Instagram story with a tag to the Page.
d. Participants shall ensure their entry does not violate any applicable law, including laws related to privacy, intellectual property, and content standards.
e. Any entry containing copyrighted content without proper authorization will be disqualified. The Brand reserves the right to request evidence of ownership or authorization for content if required.
4. Selection of Winners:
a. 4 entries will be selected through a scientific selection process. The 4 shortlisted entries would then be paired randomly by the Brand.
b. Each pair will be featured in back-to-back Instagram stories on the Brands Page, with a poll for the audience to vote for their favorite entry .
c. Any entry that violates the submission guidelines, public decency, community standards, or applicable Indian laws, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 or contains inappropriate content, will be disqualified, as determined solely by the Brand.
d. Each participant is eligible for only two tickets and cannot win multiple tickets even though they have made multiple entries .
e. The winner shall be selected at the sole discretion of the Brand. The Brand reserves the right to modify the winner selection process if deemed necessary by the Brand. The decision of the Brand shall be final and binding, and no correspondence regarding the selection of winners will be entertained.
f. The Brand will not be liable for any issues related to failed notifications due to technical problems, incorrect contact information, or participant negligence.
g. In case of a dispute regarding winner selection, the Brand's decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
h. The Brand shall exercise its right of discretion to maintain equity and fairness for all participants in compliance with Indian laws and the final judgement of the Brand shall not be questioned.
i. Winners must provide proof of identity and any other documentation as required by the Brand to
claim the prize. Entries found to be fraudulent or in violation of contest rules will be disqualified.
j. Neither the Brand nor the Agency will be liable for any cancellation, rescheduling, or alteration of the event.
k. Winners of the Contest will be required to share their personal information, including but not limited to their full name, phone number, email address, and other details as requested by the Brand, for the purpose of facilitating the ticket distribution.
l. The Brand reserves the right to collect, store, and use this information solely for Contest-related purposes, in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 (DPDA). The data may also be used for promotional activities such as announcing winners on social media. The Brand will ensure secure storage of personal information and will not disclose it to third parties except as required for Contest operations or by law.
5. Prize:
a. Winners will receive tickets to the biggest concert scheduled for 26th January 2025 in Ahmedabad
b. The 2 winners will then receive 2 tickets each.2 Winners will be notified via direct message on their social media platform where their winning entry was submitted.
c. The Brand will be solely responsible for the distribution of the tickets to the winners. d. The tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any taxes or additional expenses related to the prize(s) are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
6. Winner Notification:
a. The winner(s) will be announced on our Instagram Page; and they will have to DM us to claim their rewards
b. If a winner fails to respond within 2 days of the notification, or if the prize notification is returned as undelivered, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Publicity:
a. By accepting the prize(s), the winner(s) agree to allow the Brand to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation or permission.
8. Ownership and Usage Rights:
a. By entering the contest, participants waive their copyright in the submitted content and grant the Brand a perpetual, irrevocable, and royalty-free license, non-exclusive, worldwide, license to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display their submission, in whole or in part, for any purpose related to the contest and its promotion, without further consent or compensation
b. Participants warrant that their entry is an original work created solely by them and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
c. The Brand retains all intellectual property rights in promotional materials and entries.
9. Disclaimers
a. The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Artist or any of its affiliates.
b. The decisions of the Brand regarding any aspect of the Contest are final and binding.
10. Limitation of Liability
a. The Brand and its affiliates, partners, and sponsors shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or death, damage caused, directly or indirectly, in connection with the contest or the use of the prize(s).
b. By participating in the contest, participants indicate their full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
11.Content Guidelines:
a. The Brand may share personal information of the Winners with affiliates, agents, sponsors, employees, prize suppliers, distributors, and service providers as required by law, with due adherence to data protection regulations.
12.General Conditions:
a. Participation in the Contest implies acceptance of all terms and conditions. Any form of fraud or use of unfair means will result in immediate disqualification.
b. The Contest is voluntary, and by entering, participants agree to receive communications from the Brand or its agencies.
c. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter (X), or Instagram.
d. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with the Artist. The Artist does not have any responsibility or liability with respect to this Contest in any way and shall not be responsible for any questions, claims, complaints, damages or disputes with respect to the contest, selection of winners, prizes, etc.
e. The Brand reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest and its terms without prior notice, in accordance with applicable laws in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues that may arise.
f. Participants indemnify the Brand against any losses, claims, injuries, costs, or liabilities arising from their participation in the Contest.
g. The Brand shall not be responsible for lost, misdirected, or misplaced entries.
h. If any part of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid by a competent court or authority, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
i. The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations in India and is void where prohibited by law.
j. No Winner shall have any right to claim a Ticket for any other category of seating other than the ones issued by the Brand/ Agency.
k. No Winner shall trade/sell/transfer or create a charge or lien on the ticket or seek refund thereof. Britannia/ Agency shall not be held responsible for any such offence/violation.
l. Britannia/Agency shall not be responsible for issuing a fresh Ticket, in case the scheduled event gets postponed or cancelled or abandoned or for any reason whatsoever or the event does not take place on the scheduled date and venue. No Winner shall be eligible to claim any compensation towards the event or refund of ticket value or issuance of fresh Ticket.
m. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner to reach the event venue on time. The Prize shall not cover any extra/ancillary cost.
n. These terms and conditions are subject to any terms and conditions which govern the event on 26th January, 2025 in Ahmedabad.
o. The tickets will be provided on an "as-is where-is basis" and without any express or implied warranty or guarantee concerning the quality, suitability or comfort. The Brand/Agency, their associates, directors, officers, agents, representatives shall not be responsible or liable for any deficiency or any other dispute in relation to and/or concerning the tickets. Britannia /Agency will not entertain any claims whatsoever in this regard.
p. The Brand/Agency are not responsible for any deficiency and/ or defect in, or relating to, any product/service and/or the tickets or for any kind of consequential damages/ loss, bodily harm/ injury or death, in any manner whatsoever.
q. The image of the event depicted on the ads/posters/pack shots etc. are indicative only and the actual event and experience of the Prize may vary from such pictures.
r. The tickets are not transferable, can’t be traded, exchanged, sold, replaced or adjusted wi

t. The tickets are free of cost and the Winners are not required to pay for the same or send any money or share any Bank or Card details with Britannia/ Agency. Brand/ Agency shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the Participant if any money is paid, transferred or bank/card related details are shared by the Participant.
13.Jurisdiction:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. Any dispute including any dispute arising out of all matters with respect to this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Bangalore, India.
Note: The participants hereby confirm and acknowledge that they have carefully read, thoroughly reviewed, and fully understood the terms and conditions outlined above. By participating in the contest, the participants explicitly agree to abide by these terms and conditions, and undertake to comply with all rules, obligations, and requirements set forth herein
